Boots Opticians Aberystwyth

The optician I saw was very good but sadly the service hbecame very poor once I had paid. The glasses lenses were incorrect which was blamed on the lab. I rang a week later to collect and it was obvious that they had not been sent back to the lab. Another week later they were ready. This was the first time I was contacted by the branch. I asked for the glasses to be posted to me as I have broken my foot. 3 weeks later I am still waiting and no contact from the branch. Appalling service

Boots provided excellent advice and were able to supply two pairs of prescription sunglasses and 1 pair of glasses for my family within 10 days. Each time a new pair arrived at their store they called immediately to let me know. They also took time to fit the glasses carefully which we are appreciating.

Was in Aberystwyth on holiday with conjunctivitus symptoms that were worsening despite taking medication. Phoned from outside Opticians shop to ask to see someone so they could check it for me. They said they wouldn't until 5 days of treatment had finished (by which time I would be home). I went to opticians when back home and had 3 corneal ulcers that are severe and sight-threatening but wouldnt have been if they had been picked up earlier, i.e. Boots opticians had seen me when I asked. Needless to say I won't be using Boots opticians again. Avoid.

Went to have my glasses fixed. Having taken the glasses was made to wait on the street for 15 mins . Couldn't see , blurred vision very uncomfortable. I understand only certain amount of people in the shop at one time . Could have asked me to come back when less busy

Excellent service here. The sight test was conducted very professionally, with care and a pleasant manner leading to complete confidence in the outcome. The sales staff were polite and friendly but thankfully without being over bearing.

I had discomfort in one of my eyes as if I had scratches. I was on holiday from England, didn't know where I could go without prebooking for an emergency during Covid Pandemic. I visited Boots optician. A lady saw me straight away and found an ingrowing eye lash, took it out and advised me about eye drops and sent a report to my GP. All in short space of time. I was able to enjoy the rest of holiday. Quick and sympathetic service.

an absolutely awful set of staff. looking to get the details of my prescription emailed to me so I can buy new glasses elsewhere. a very rude staff member told me to write them a letter to get the details
