I love the products in this shop but the service is so slow. It's not the staff its seems it the systems and processes. There needs to be more staff and quicker systems in place for returns and purchases.

A well stocked store for the size it is!

We tend to call ahead, having created an online 'shopping list' from the website, as sometimes we can't wait for a standard 3-day delivery to us or store. On average they have most things we need, but if not, they have the alternatives!

It's a crammed store with LOADS on offer, as usual, but if you have frail mobility, then bare that in mind. Other customers and the staff will get out of your way and help to move stuff for you to navigate, but thankfully there's the online store to entertain all requirements.

Having said that, the counter is at the store front, so order online and those items that don't meet your requirements are easy to return free of charge at the store, rather than sending them back. Unless that's easier for you to do, however, bare in mind there's a £3 fee for that service; cheaper to spend half an hour round trip driving to the store? We have options..

The staff are awesome at helping! Some would say to a fault, actually. I've been stuck in line at the counter for 10 minutes before whilst the staff hunt around for an elusive alternative for a return. Do I pick up the nearest half price hat and gloves, instead of throwing my bag of returns on the counter? How many customers are behind me.....

We have shopped at Mountain Warehouse all over the country and we're walking advertisements of their quality and variety of products throughout the year of seasons as a testament. Their "water resistant" items need over coats or over trousers when met with more than a light splash of rain, but all products fit to size as described.

Check out the clearance section online to buy stuff really cheaply, especially when trying to bump up the outlay for free next-day delivery. You know, the stuff you don't need, but should have just in case ;-)

Good value due to sale prices.

They are so polite and helpful we'll keep going there for household items. Prices are very fair to fit most pockets in these difficult times.
The last furniture we bought came with a lovely Thank You card. It isn't a lot but it means they care.

Great helpful staff unfortunately just didn't have quite what I needed.

Carol and her staff were really patient and gave us excellent advice for the correct clothing for our first trip to a cold climate.

Huge range of products, sale was on while I was there, I believe this branch is closing down
