Mountain Warehouse Fox's (Amersham)

I felt compelled to write a review to express my delight at the visit to Fox's on Saturday afternoon. Despite the team being busy all of the team were upbeat and very willing to help. A complete contrast to the other shops that I had visited earlier in the day!

I was looked after by Lucy, and my thanks go out to her in particular as she was very helpful, taking the time to ensure that I was happy with my boots and that the correct waterproofing treatment was selected.

Nice place for any of your outdoor clothing and accessories needs. Privately owned but with the stock of a full-blown franchise store. Situated on the same site as the large Tesco building with copious amounts of parking because of this. The parking is also free which adds even more appeal to shop here. The staff seemed friendly enough but also allowed my partner and I to shop in peace without feeling hounded.

This shop is new to me and I love it. I visited during the sale which was up to 70% off and bought some lovely kids clothes. The staff were really nice and helpful when I revisited the next day to exchange some shirts for a larger size. Its large, well stocked and had a wide variety. I didn't stay long but hope to go back again another day.

I am a big fan of M/W as , over the years, I have always found their products extremely good value for money and hard wearing. I am amazed at the price level they offer for quality goods and always look forward to my next visit. If you haven't been there yet, go and discover a slick and efficient operation anxious to meet your needs. You will not be disappointed!

I've bought various items over the last couple of years from Mountain Warehouse including fleeces, waterproofs, daysacks and boots. I've been impressed with the quality of their products for the price. The Mountain Warehouse in Amersham was not as good as I was expecting. For a reasonably sized building, it seemed to lack a decent range and was not well presented. I was looking for big backpacks and sleeping bags. Not one member of staff approached me nor acknowledged me which isn't the norm for Mountain Warehouse. I left without buying anything and ordered 3 Berghaus backpacks online for a similar price. My visits to the Taplow and Marlow branches were better.

Shockingly poor service, very unhelpful and rude. Poor quality items. Used to be well run but must have recently got new manager/staff. Avoid unless absolutely necessary!!

Great friendly service. Had reserved a product for collection and it was there ready for me, no waiting around. Ample parking outside shop as well
