Castleberg Outdoors

Went walking around the Dales but my old boots started hurting and I had two more days to go so I went to Castleberg as it was very close to where I was staying and looked promising from the outside. Inside the lady gave me great advice on what boots to get and really did her best to find boots that would fit as I have very wide feet. The next day I walked Pen-Y-Ghent and the boots were fabulous and didn't hurt one bit. Being new shoes I was worried they might regardless of how nice they were but they were perfect! I really recommend this shop to anyone in the area! Also I really appreciated the Covid safety measures as the numbers are rising again at the time of writing.

I ordered Kahtoola EXOspikes on standard delivery but being concerned about Royal Mail strikes I then emailed to upgrade to next day delivery. This was handled, promply, efficiently and in a friendly manner by the Castleberg staff. It's a pity that RM didn't meet their GUARANTEED delivery by 1pm the next day!
