Photo Paper Direct Ltd

I ordered A4 Glossy Photo Paper 260g which was advertised as being equal to other well known photo paper. I was extremely disappointed with this paper, There is little gloss, the paper appears to be extremely flexible and the photos have come out quite dark. I would not order again.

Wednesday 16th August 2017 - Ordered 50 + 50 free sheets Glossy A3 paper, 260 gsm. Order acknowledged by e-mail at 02:08 pm. estimated delivery 2-4 days - free.

Thursday 17th August 2017 - 100 sheets delivered to my home around 11:15 a.m. Less than 24 hours later!

Tested the paper against my usual Ilford supply (twice the price). The PDD product looks slightly whiter than the Ilford paper and to be honest when I compared two prints of the same photo, the colours on the PPD product appear a little muted in comparison. The yellows and red on the Ilford paper seem just a touch more vivid but it's not a massive difference.

I'll keep testing but so far, so good.

For my business, I use the A4 Glossy Photo Paper 260g. It is superb and the customer service is second to none. You can't go wrong with Photo Paper Direct!

I had bought A4 product from PPD before for digital photography with great results. I have recently bought an A3 printer but struggled with one of the papers which, according to the HP manual (and confirmed by their on-line chat), was because it was too heavy. I contacted Aron at PPD who was more than happy for me to exchange the paper but took the time to explain that the real issue was flexibility of paper not weight alone. As I had bought also the canvas paper (even heavier but much more flexible) I tried this and found he was absolutely right. Problem resolved.

Great service and expertise, great product at a fair price. What else do you need?

Only ever had one issue with PPD and there t-shirt transfer paper is one of the best but when you do have a problem don't expect a quick resolution and be prepared to be told its your fault !

Excellent photo paper with a high gloss finish. Buy one, get one free is even better. I'm really delighted with my purchase and would probably purchase again.

The only reason why I'm giving a bad review is that they do not provide ICC profiles for their paper. Bought a 100 pack of "professional photo paper" and now I can't really use it as there is no icc profiles for it. Any other professional paper provider ( fotospeed, permajet ) provides icc profiles for their paper...
I wouldn't suggest buying paper for photography printing with them as to me it sounds like a bit of false advertising.

Used PPD for a while to support my small business and I would not use anyone else. A+ Customer service as even when I have made errors with my order, Silvana has been quick to respond and resolve the issue straight away. Cannot fault them at all and would highly recommend.
