Bacon Hill Woodland Park

Running parallel to the A27 this small wooded area is popular for local dog walkers and for those who like to explore woodland areas. There are a just a couple of trails running through the woods so it's easy to walk through. If you are lucky you may spot the wildlife that have made their home here.

I did come across some structural remains that looks like they are from WWII. If you have knowledge of such things and could confirm this and what they could be used for, then please visit and leave a review!

Parking was easy with plenty of opportunities along Cheriton Avenue. The entrance to the woodland near the pillar post box.
Not suitable for disabled or wheelchair users due to the narrow trails.
