Eagle Recreation Ground and Play Area

Lots of great play equipment. Outdoor gym equipment and plenty of green space for ball games. Great for walking the dog or running with friends. There are link walks from Eagle Rec to the canal walk if you want to go for a longer walk or run.

Not very safe tp be alone here at odd hours especially early morning or late evening. But good park

Excellent park for taking the dog for a walk.
The perimeter is marked out for 600 yards for those jogging.
The gym equipment dispersed around the perimeter is in good order, free, and gets regularly used.

Visited and reminiscing an area I grew up in, lovely place but so different to the place I remembered. Great looking playground.

Alright park, but litter everywhere and not very safe for teens to be there alone with friends, full of drunks at night

Not our favourite play area - bit run down and the enclosed area is part covered in weeds, but there is parking close by.

Biggest issue wasn't only the broken pieces, but the lack of consistency for the equipment. Two of the climbing frames look good for toddlers, then upon closer inspection were no good at all (one had hanging rings well out of my reach connecting the platforms and then a small slide, the other had huge gaps in the platforms so we could not leave the 2 year old to climb alone).

An effort has been made to keep the area safe, but we will not be coming back.

Quite and peaceful playground. Have fun without queue
