Craneford Way Playing Fields

It's a fairly quiet park and a lovely big space.

Would of been better if there wasnt a crowd of teenagers 90 plus playing music loud not social distancing. Police turned up to clear them but some hid in harlequins and came back out when police gone. Still there playing music loud 30plus teenagers . Covid19 spread again with these irresponsible kids.

Nothing special, just a field trees and a small playground,the reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the huge any swarms during the summer sometimes .during that time avoid the park

Lovely playground with play equipment by Wicksteed. About a 10 mins walk from here is Knellar Gardens. Knellar Gardens has a café and toilets.

Nice pitches for kids football but difficult parking

My kids love it because there is usually no one around. So they don't wait in line for toys.

GRANDCHILDREN loved it here .
All ages 2yr old 7yr old came to play
Need supervision though on the rolling logs ((For the youngens))..
Bench seating available..to rest while they're playing/bins provided for trash
Park for dog walkers ...through the gated area of swings/play area ..

I mainly walk along this area from time to time as I was at college around there and I like to reminisce. Lovely area in spring
