Jack Wood

I'm pleased to give Jackwood it's first review. Castlewood, Jackwood and Oxleas Wood all merge into one and I'm not sure where one finishes and the other starts. But it doesn't matter because they are all beautiful whatever the season. It's surprising that many people in the area don't realise what magnificent woodland is on their doorstep, we are lucky to have such a place.

Nicd ares of ancient woodland

I visited here in February. This is joined to multiple woodland areas and is a good place for walking.

Great outdoor place for strolling with kids. Not very many birds ot wildlife though, apart from few squirrels and mice)). Recommend to everyone, good views over Eltham, City of London and Bexleyheath.
