Bennett's Recreation Ground

Lovely little park with standard park fare. However lovely for letting the children let off steam after school or when you’ve been to the shops. Always seems tidy and well maintained. Lots of open space nearby, cafe, splash park and a tennis court nearby.

A nice park with enclosed swings, slides etc for small children and a large wooden activity playground for older children. 2 Tennis courts, a splash park in the summer and a cafe. This park is also used for football training and matches so the ground gets a bit churned up. There is a small car park but plenty of parking in nearby streets.

I brought some children here and they had a blast. It would be nice if there was a changing area so kids could dry off.

Fantastic place. 2 large playgrounds, splash area plus opportunity to have something to eat and drink. Highly recommend.

Very large open area where kids can run around, wooden adventure part for children and older children. Nice clean area and amazing play ground with lot of fascinating equipment. A place to chill and enjoy the sun.

There is a large open green area here where football is played. There is a cafe (open some of the year only), a small splash park area, an adventure play area and a smaller playground.
All the good things for kids - swings, see saws, slides, zip lines, small trampolines, other fun things.
It can be extremely busy during kids holidays and after school time. Best off going during the week when kids are at school if you have a small one.
