A lovely park and field to have a walk around or game on the field. Though found alot of dog mess that hadn't been cleaned up, which when young children are running about is disappointing.

Broad meadows Recreation park my grandchildren love it. Every time they come to stay, I have to take them there because it's not too busy and even the three year old likes to have a go at the older ones frames nothing stops her from challenging herself against her brother and her older sister.

A cricket ground, with a footpath surrounding it and bench seats placed at regular intervals. There's an enclosed play area for small children, with swings, climbing frame, slide etc. There's also an enclosed tarmac basketball court. Popular with dog walkers.

This ground is the home to the Bolsover Bulls Rugby League Club for kids. The pitch has recently been drained to ensure it can be enjoyed all year round.

Home of grass roots football. Two well looked after pitches and the Home of South Normanton Albion, AFC South Normanton and South Normanton Villa. Just across the path is the boundary public house
