Lovely place. Nice surprise with the planet trail and cafe. Staff were lovely and opened the toilets back up so my 2 year old potty training son could go!
Note. Toilets close at 4pm

Lovely afternoon wander around the pond, lots of sweet babies to see!
Really great amenities, lots of seating, and the gym bit amused my boyfriend for a while.

A lot has changed here since I was here last ,gone are the boats and the lake is more a wildlife refuge, especially for wild fowl.
A great place to recognise the different types of duck. Tufted,Teal, Mallard, Shoveler,Golden eye,and Widgeon.
Occasionally a Mandarin make a appearance.
The swans look magnificent as they glide across the lake with the weeping willows in the background make a fine photograph.
Squirrels come down from the trees hoping for food from the visitors.
A great place to spend a relaxing hour or two.
There's a little cafe but more investment in this area is desperately needed.
More outdoor seating with tables would be great.
A pier with a cafe and outdoor tables like Attenborough would be nice.
Let's bring Alvaston Lake back to being the place to be.
A great day out.
During the school holidays there is a fair with Dinosaurs.
£7.99 for a wrist band for the children to allow them to go on the rides and slides.
For the adults there's a lovely Coffee Bar that also serves tea and cakes.
A good day out for not a lot of money.
Fair ends August 29th

Love this park, the football pitches are well looked after and good for walking a small dog on the nicely cut grass.
Lots of lovely separate areas and fabulous trees. Plenty of water birds including geese and swans.

Lovely place, friendly ducks and birds! Parrots can be spotted as well, definitely recommended to spend free time.

Beautiful park, great playground and outdoor gym. I did the park run here and it was a lovely flat route, it made a great change to Markeaton and I'll definitely go again. Only down side was for some reason the cafe there was shut off so sitting outside was the only option.
