Car Park The Priory Centre - Dartford | APCOA

I regularly use the Priory centre, not the car park though, trying to navigate through the private carpark which is supposed to be monitored by APCOA is a joke, cars parked on the footpath and restricted areas set aside for pedestrians. I feel sorry for those honest people who pay the extortionate fees for parking when others seem to get away with it.

Rubbish parking
The prices have gone sky-high
And ridiculous. One machine for the entire multi storey car park
Nobody wants to pay that much for parking when there is a living crisis
We won't be parking there again

Awfull had to estimate the time spending in centre, how do you know? Machines are awfull, hard to understand, instructions in very small writing, in the lift down the notice to say to use the ticket machine is high up on the side so did not see it until a lady pointed up to it, it was annoying embarrassing, and it was not just me stuck trying to obtain a ticket, and only 2 was working. I WILL NEVER USE THAT CARPARK AGAIN

If you have a problem go to the car park office on 1st floor. I put the wrong car registration number in they corrected my mistake. Very helpful.

There are always parking spaces but usually most of the meters don't work and you have to go all over the place to just find one. Today none of the contactless ones worked so we had to go get change just to get a ticket. I know that a lot of meters only work with coins but we came here knowing that there is contactless. This is the reason we usually go Crayford Sainsbury's instead of Dartford.

Edit: you can now pay on your phone with RingGo app which makes things easier for me but I still prefer to go Crayford Sainsbury’s because you don’t have to pay and the shop is bigger and better stocked. However I’m not sure if having an app is any help to people who are not so good with technology.

Don’t go near these car parks, they are setup in a way to that is designed to allow fines to be freely applied.
Not sure who appointed this company, but whoever it was they must be very pleased with the way the public are conned.

Suspended parking , one way only , bit confusing as the entrance is on the right side if I do remember right instead of beeing on left as you would expect. Lorries also acces this place for deliveries on the first floor for Sainsburys and Argos. Mine went smooth , the worker in there was a good worker , helpfull and polite. I was ready to go to my next delivery in a very short time.

When I book online
While leaving the barrier don’t automatically opens up? I have to press the help button and speak to someone who then opens it
It will be really helpful if you can solve this problem
