Switherland woods are lovely to spend a morning walking. The bluebells at the moment are beautiful, there's also lots of wood anemones. Definitely worth visiting.

This place is not so far from Loughborough and you can be here in 15 min. From this place you can walk and visit the Swithland Wood. If you visit the Swithland Wood in the spring you can see how the nature come back to life after winter. In the summer it is nice to come here to feel the coolness of the forest.

This car park worked perfectly. We got it the car, paid for parking and went for our walk. Shock horror, the car park did it's job, we returned and the car was there. We were all surprised, but it did it! We wept, we laughed, we cheered. Every since this life changing experience I've told everyone I can. I've bought signs and billboard space. I hope to go back soon with other people to allow this spiritual awakening wash over more hardened hearts. All hail the swithland wood north carpark!

If you need to find peace and quiet this is where you should visit. Beautiful. Especially end of April /beginning of May. Bluebells and wild anemones aplenty. My favourite part is the meadow. So calming.

Inexpensive parking, sometimes tricky to find a space. Do NOT park on the grass verges as you WILL be fined!
