Church Green Car Park

This is a terrible car park and will try to fine you at any time. I parked and the machine wasn’t working which seem to be not unusual , tried to contact owners Parallel Parking but mailbox was full . This is by the side of a restaurant. Received fine 2 week
Is later…apparently no one should park there if machine is out of order.I am told this is in small print on one of the signs. How does restaurant cope when this happens

This car park is an absolute JOKE.

The pay machine rarely works.
When it doesn't work, you are not allowed to park there or you WILL be fined.
You can use the Flowbird app to pay for parking, but this is also extremely temperamental. My friend had to enter payment details multiple times, and was charged twice for one parking session - Did they refund her? No.
Also - If you have coins, these are also useless. An older gentleman ahead of me used coins instead of card (because, once again, the card option was not working), and the machine took his money and produced no ticket.

The owners of this car park couldn't care less if you lose money, or cannot pay for it due to THEIR machine not working. Which evidently, is their own fault and something they should improve if they want the custom.

Shocking management of this car park that try to fine you at every given opportunity. Half the time the machines aren't working resulting in you having to pay by app, not a problem if the app actually works! Work colleague got fined for parking in this car park for a matter of minutes while she tried to pay. When she realised she had no way of paying because both the machine and app weren't working, she moved her car away yet still got fined! The company need to make sure their machines/app is working or customers have no way of paying, but that doesn't seem to phase them as they will just fine them instead!

Avoid this car park unless you want a fine! I parked here and the parking machine was not working, so I tried to call and make payment over the phone, apparently they don’t accept payment this way, you must use the app. The app was not working on my phone so due to having no way of being able to pay, I moved my car to elsewhere and 2 weeks later I received a £100 fine for the 20 minutes I was trying to arrange payment for the car parking. I tried to appeal as it was not my fault and they advised it is my fault as I didn’t pay even though I tried several times. I will NEVER use this car park again!

great location and really cheap prices would highly recommend

It would have been the right time during covid to upgrade the machine to accept card payments. I don't know if it's owned but the council, but whoever is responsible, they need to put their act together.

At least it's still cheap.

it would be OK if the machine worked or the app and like alot of other people still fine you even if you have no way of paying for the parking,don't even enter the car park as they take a picture the time you enter and when you leave so even if your only there 10 minutes because your wasting time trying to pay for the parking in the first place and they makers money out of the fines
