The cat park on a Sunday is jammed but you can usually find a place to park along the lane. Walk to Chanctonbury Hill - the views will not disappointed you! Feels magical up there - like standing where people have stood for thousands of years. Wonderful!

Car park very small. Hard work climbing to the ring but well worth the journey, wonderful views of sea to the south and surrey downs to the north

Not the carpark no! ......Chanctonbury Ring up on the South Downs! Views brilliant beautiful location especially with the sun shining!

Lovely trail, with many different routes to the top!! The one we choose had a beautiful swing on the journey!! Which gave us loads of fun on route to the top!!

Unsurprisingly busy following the easing of lockdown, the Bank Holiday and the fantastic weather. Probably not the best time to go although we had our masks and observed social distancing unlike most others!

Use full car park quiet large area for many cars. I used my motor bike and parked it never the entrance. A nice but tiring walk up hill for around 30mins to get to the top then roughly 20mins more to the ancient tree circle. An amazing view from the top. You can see Shoreham and the wind turbines and plenty of countryside views.
