Car park fine once one is in but terrible drop down from road could easily damage one's car. Be careful to avoid scraping on the way out

Lots of parking spaces . Not close to town so no good for disabled people. Otherwise it's cheap all day parking

This car park slightly further away from the Mere than Castlefileld car park but roadside pathway starts immediatley as you leave towards the town. On the day visited the Ticket machine was still out of order. Took photo to confirm this. 3 weeks on from last review and it seems no action taken. Decided to park anyway.

You can pay for parking with a credit card. Usually space on the hard standing. Parking does extend on to the grass on busy days. Does have picnic benches and grassey space

OK parking, machine is regularly broken so take a photo incase they try to book you. Makes a good walk round lake to woods and back

Good parking close to the Mere but ticket machine out of order and help phone number unanswered so you can't pay and are left wondering if you're going to get a ticket.

A nice carpark for Elkesmere lake with seating areas in summer but not enough labelled dog bins
