The payment website doesn’t work so I called and they said there’s nothing they can do and the fine will be issued. So because their website wouldn’t take £1 from me I will now be charged a £50 fine and have to try and appeal it. I also spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to resolve this and 30 minutes messing around with the website and parking app trying every conceivable credit card and combination and nothing would work. It’s just one big scam and I’m sick of these types of companies.

Terrible station. Only one ticket machine. And most of the time it's never working. Station never has staff. Clearly c2c just trying to claw money back. Because southend central really needs all that security guards....
