Alsop Station Car Park - Peak District NP

A good car park, but it can get very busy. Great for access to the Tissington trail. You can use a credit card at the pay station.

Just a car park really.
£4.75 to park all day, which isn't the cheapest.
No toilets.
No food..
However... a direct entrance to the Tissington trail..
Also you can walk straight over the trail and directly onto fields which makes an interesting walk if you fancy something different.

Tidy parking area well signposted from the main road. Easy to use parking meter that only accepts card payment

Pay and display car park. Tissington trail adjacent car park so good for biking and also walking. Or can walk out of car park and walk down to Milldale and along the river dove

Good location to park & walk/cycle Tissington trail. Pay & Display, picnic tables. No toilets. Space for larger vehicles & motorhomes, but cars need to park in area for cars.

Decent car park with plenty of space, usually quiet. There are a few picnic benches which is good. No cafe at this one.

Walkers be ware I had my car broken into and my personal possessions stolen out the back of my car last week. Thugs smashed my back window and stole my handbag from the boot. My I phone was stolen which traced the thugs to a property in central Ashbourne. Too secluded, easy target! I will not be parking there again.
