Welsh St Car Park

The car park overlooks the back of the castle, has a children's park through a side entrance, has free public toilets and has paths leading a short walk straight into the town centre.
I have never had any trouble finding a parking place because it is very large.

Cheap £1.20 for a 2 hour stay. Can be crowded. Ticket officers make there rounds.

Sundays were free, this is the first visit since 2019 before COVID-19 but the charges was ok

What can you say about a car park ....it has disable spaces and normal ones.
Park within lines.
Shops near plus park for children.

Really handy for parking if visiting the centre of Chepstow. We went to the once a fortnight Sunday market and parking was only £1. Ticketing machines worked well.

Dropped into Chepstow for a few hours, and this car park is absolutely perfect to be in the middle of the town.. and as we came on Sunday it was £1 for the day.. bargain

A sign that explains that the first 2 hours are free and what the charge for Sunday parking is would be appreciated. This was the first time I had used the car park and I was unsure of the charges, so paid when I didn't need too.

Good spot for the shops and the castle. Prices are very good. £1.90 for up to 3 hours.
Use regularly when in Chepstow as close to the shops.
Recommend to visitors and locals.
