Newport Truck Park

This is a brand new facility and is well worth visit. Good food great showers, all very clean. The owners are fantastic. If you need secure overnight parking, get this place on your radar.

Shower room, offends all hygiene standards. Water is not draining properly. The walls are covered with fungus and there was no toilet paper in the restrooms for the weekend.

First time in here. Friendly staff the food was hot and very tasty. Recomend the chicken and smoked ham pie. Was full of flavour worth every penny. Very reasonably priced can't get any better than that. 5☆ to the chef. They even understood the Geordie accent without having to read the Subtitles across my belly. 🤣

Facilities are clean and functional.
Food was brilliant and the parking lot was good. Concrete and tarmac with some gravel patches but clean and dry.
Will definitely return when/if I’m in the area.

First time here tonight, very friendly welcome on arrival. I was given the code for the gate should I want to go out after 9 (when it's locked) and the wifi code.
Surprised and pleased to be given a £3 meal voucher even though I was paying on SNAP.
Food reasonably priced and home cooked fresh to order, very tasty. Kitchen staff really friendly and helpful. Free tea/coffee in the morning for those staying overnight. Overall would definitely recommend. Didn't use showers, but toilets clean and fresh smelling.

Prices are charged on either 12 or 24 hour overnight stays, it's a strange way to charge and it's wrong really, so if you are parked up for around 13 hours you'll still pay for 24! And also the cafe isn't open in the mornings so no food or drinks available before you set off for your working day. The menu inside the cafe looks like it's been written by a child, scruffy writing all over the place on a chalk board, not an ideal way for customers to choose easily what to have. Showers aren't private either which shouldn't be happening in this day and age.
Overall a quiet place to stay but by no means the best, lots of improvement needed.
