Whitford Beach Car Park

Good parking spot for exploring the North Gower coast.
This is basically a small field with some gravel by the entrance. It is possible to get your vehicle stuck in the mud on a damp day so choose your spot wisely!

Walk down to the beach past Cwm Ivy cottage you will find it almost deserted most times the beach to yourself which goes on for miles ,what a contrast to the tourist South Gower .This place is true peace.

What a gem of a beach. First time I sunbathed in years. I had no swimwear or a beach towel but it was beautiful. I had to shower the sand from my underwear when I arrived at the hotel but it was worth it 😁😀

Honesty box to park, can fill when the weather is nice but never failed to park here

Well located, rustic car park. Ideal for parking a car before going for a walk down to the beach, perhaps visiting the lighthouse or even visiting the nearby community shop or pub. It's a good idea to bring some coins to drop a pound in the honesty box - there's no change machine and it doesn't take cards or contactless payment.

Lovely part of Wales. We stayed in a cottage across the road from the car park so I didn’t actually use it. My review is more for the area. Beaches are lovely, there are many different country walks around there too

My favourite car park, quiet and nice spot. Always nice people. We park there for a night. Some people make a mess and this is horrible last time my boys was playing and pick up the rubbish. Hope people they will have some mercy for over and started to leave this place without rubbish on the grass.
