Mae's Parcio Llyn Alwen reservoir car park

Perfect place for walks .Around the lake there are 2 walks:Alwen lake 2,5h -3,5h or walk around 2 lakes Alwen +Llyn Brenig 4-5h.

Fantastic walk , very quiet, great to get out in the fresh air.

👍lovely clockwise walk, never seen so many frogs in one place at far end of reservoir bridge.

Pay & Display Car Park. Ideally, get there early for a space. It can get full pretty quick. Quieter on rainy days ;)

Brilliant place to visit for a walk/picnic. Better than Brenig further up the road.

Pay and display. Couldn’t seem to work the contactless so bring coins. £2,50 all day. Great 7 mile walk or bike. No facilities.
