As the training sessions are small the whole experience is very personal, the team get to know you really well and work with you to overcome any challenges you have.
Weekly check ins are available where you give feedback on the +\- of the week, one of the team come back to you on this and uses the feedback to help you in the coming week.
There is a great selection sessions through the week, a mix of small group training and HIIT type sessions, I have no problems getting 5 sessions in a week.
There is a small outdoor area to the side of the gym and a large door on the front which is opened up in nice weather, this allows the gym to be taken outside which is great.
Not directly why I joined but in the 4 months I have lost a fair amount of weight there is also plenty of nutritional advice available.
All 3 trainers are very supportive, throughout each session you are given plenty of advice and encouraged to push when they feel you can, I have never felt uncomfortable by either the trainers or the other members, everyone is always very welcoming right from my 1st session
The trainers are all brilliant and they are completely invested in you as an individual. From coaching you on form, to providing expertise on nutrition, or just making you believe in yourself - they do everything, and they do it really well. They get to know you - your limits, as well as your goals - and push you just the right amount to get you to where you want to be.
I didn’t think I’d ever be the type of person who feels confident in the gym, or someone who looks forward to training, but I really do. It’s all down to the culture that Neil and Emma create at BLF - there’s no unhealthy competition or pressure, it’s just a community of people who thrive on seeing each other win.
I love training here and I would recommend BLF to anyone.

My husband and I have been training on and off with BLF since 2012. They have been supportive through my pre and post natal exercise and have advised on suitable nutrition to help me lose weight. The small group training format has motivated me to push myself and improve my form, so now I am lifting more weight than ever.
Neil, Emma and Tom design challenging, interesting and varied programmes but are more than able to alter something if needed on an evening. All the clients are equally as friendly and motivating and (unbelievably!!) I now really enjoy my regular exercise.
I 100% recommend BLF for anyone wanting to improve strength, core stability, post natal fitness or increase performance in the gym.
I had next to no confidence when I first started training and the thought of going into a gym seemed quite scary but my confidence has grown so much thanks to Neil, Emma & Lily.
