Great atmosphere at academy with friendly team members, all working towards similar goals. Amazing support from Chris as coach, always on hand for any issues, and first to give you either a push to get you back on track when you need it or praise when you are achieving your goals.

Chris has been kind and encouraging throughout, and it's been great to be a client. I'm still carrying lots of injuries, so Chris is helping me to gain back strength and protect myself as well as hit other training goals. I gained another recently and had to stop my plan with Chris for a couple of weeks, then ease myself back in, and I couldn't have asked for more. There's no pressure, no penalties for having to take time out, and a huge amount of compassion that I'm so grateful for. Makes it a joy to get up early to go to rather than feeling like I'm being forced.
Also worth noting that I set my expectations at the start (e.g. past relationships with diets, gyms, and how I best learn), ad explained that I didn't want a bootcamp trainer to bark at me, and Chris has exceeded all of my expectations. He really does tailor everything to each client - some need the banter, some need emotional support, some only need a nod to be encouraged, and Chris is so good at giving everyone what they need to succeed in and out of the gym.
I've stayed as a client after my initial 12 week programme because I can see how far I could go and I didn't want to stop! 12 weeks goes by so quickly!
The space itself is idyllic. It's a joy to walk past the farmland in the morning in this little pocket of strange quiet, and having a limited people in the gym has helped massively in getting a good workout in and trying new things (only a couple likeminded people and Chris to witness when I do something silly!)
Have recommended Chris and the Nutrition & Training Academy in real life so many times that it's silly not to also leave a 5 star review online.

Chris is a wealth of knowledge, I enjoyed each of my sessions and would totally recommend it to anyone new to exercise or to anyone looking to improve on their current exercise regime.
He gets results and they are realistic. Everyone I met whilst training was lovely.
It’s great value too and person centred to your needs.
There is so much information and so many meal ideas that are provided by Chris all included.
If you want results and professional guidance this is the place
