I had tried a public gym in the past but found it intimidating and the promised assistance sporadic and non-specific. I did less and less and eventually stopped going. My gym sessions with Carol in her well-appointed private gym are varied but strenuous and closely tailored to my goals and health circumstances. Carol makes the sessions fun, which helps with motivation, and she has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in fitness and diet that underpins her work. Would recommend Live for Fitness to anyone.
Going in I was worried about being bullied into pushing myself beyond my capabilities but sessions with Carol are the complete opposite.
My sessions are completed through laughter and encouragement. I have always come out smiling and exhausted. After breaking my toe randomly, Carol was flexible with types of exercises to suit my abilities and pain threshold.
Originally I planned for 6 sessions... 6 months down the line and I still look forward to being pushed to achieve my personal goals.
She was very friendly and helpful from the outset and I was surprised how strenuous her sessions felt afterwards but always fun.
I was also very impressed by her knowledge of diet and foods.
In writing this, I think I had better get back there and book another few sessions !!!
I have lost in the region of 15 Kilos in weight; improved my body shape significantly; changed my diet; stopped smoking; enhanced my flexibility and strength; worked hard to effectively increase my balance and consistenly strengthen my core!
Carol is one of those people that you trust to get a “job done”. Fun, fitness and focussed - all in one session... and no two sessions are the same.
I thoroughly recommend Carol to everyone, whatever your goals. Start with a 6 session programme and you’ll keep coming back for more.

I have created a list of about 50 exercises broken down by upper body, core, lower body and split further by flexibility vs strength. I have my own collection of bands, bricks and balls that I use now, 5-7 times a week and am enjoying the benefits of improved physical fitness. No need to join a gym. Recommend highly.
