Short Bark and Sides Dog Grooming

I can't rate it because we didn't manage to get in. Let me explain:-

We had a booking for today 25/07/14 at 11.30am. Then we had a phone call from the grooming dept. to ask if we could take a later booking 14.30hrs to accommodate another lady who couldn't make the later booking. We had no problems so accepted the later time. We were phoned yesterday twice, by, I assume, the groomers, to check on the booking and to confirm the time of 14.30hrs.

We turned up at 14.05 and the reception phoned to say we had arrived. We waited until 14.20 with no result so went to reception to ask if we should walk around to the building.

When we arrived and rang the bell on the wall we were confronted by a woman who informed us the appointment was at 2.00pm and we had now lost our place. We tried explaining our side of the story but had the gate closed in our face!

We wont be booking there again I can assure you. How rude can you get, they must be making plenty of money in donations because that's why we booked at the Animal shelter.

We were also going to take out there "Vet Plan" when the one we have runs out, but we will not be doing that either now.

My Pomeranian has definitely had a positive experience, the lady working here is really lovely, they bond straight away and she did an amazing job with my dog's double coat. I will surely be back soon 😊

Great team. It shows they care about each and every dog. My malamute came out with looking like a new bear. It can be hard to get an appointment with them so need to book way in advance.

Really great job done, took our dog Kaya today (28/03/22) and she came out looking so cute! Really recommend them as they clearly care about the dogs that come and offer such a great service to them 😊 Thank you 🐺🧼👍

Thank you as always to you all at Short Bark and Sides for the love, care and attention that you always give to my 2 Bedlington Whippets Pip and Bunny. Took Teddy to this groomers yesterday and he looks amazing. Don't think I will ever struggle doing it myself again.

Friendly, caring staff & by far the best hair cut my dog has had!
