Pets at Home Cheltenham Golden Valley

Frequently a visitor at this store and I always leave as a happy customer! It's great for all your pet essentials and the staff who work here are amazing and very helpful! John is especially good with my labradoodle - who can be a little nervous around strangers. All the staff are truly amazing and really know their animal stuff!

It's ok for buying off the shelf but their ordering ability is a disaster if they don't have what you want. As for "We will ring you when your order is in," they don't. I rang the store for a cat flap which they had. I went to collect it only to find I also needed an adapter for a glass door which they didn't have, I wasn't told this when I phoned . A 25 mile round trip wasted! They ordered one and said it would take 3 to 4 days . After 10 days I hadn't heard from them so I called in and cancelled the order and got a refund. No apology, just "sorry, someone should have phoned you."

Excellent service, great prices- shame about lack of staff

Lovely little shop with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Have sometimes experienced slightly less informed staff at the Gallagher branch, but the staff I encountered at Golden Valley seemed to know their stuff! Very well stocked for a smaller shop; great selection of reptile accessories and food. Some of the items are a little pricey, but they're good quality, so I can't complain! Will most definitely be using again. I also recommend joining their VIP club if you haven't done so already. Great offers and discounts for your pets. :)

Super friendly staff. Knowledgeable and extremely helpful

Yesterday I took my Mother to buy a few things like extension lead, brush, food etc & we were helped by Hannah.
She could not have done a better job.
Honestly, Hannah went above & beyond.
So knowledgeable, patient, & warm& friendly.
I cannot praise her enough.
Hanna is a credit to her boss (who btw was very nice too) & the company.
She will go far.
Make sure you have Hanna next time you’re in the store!!

Friendly staff, usually have a chat and a giggle. Staff will ask if assistance or help is needed when browsing which is nice if you need help with searching or advice. I would recommend this store
