Very great customer service, the owner has impressive experience with exotic animals.
Very helpful with the large amount of knowledge and ability to answer every question without struggle.
Very good care for animals and an option to buy a full set of necessities for the animal as well as decorations for a reasonable price also.

After telling me that the animals I wanted to buy were available and for sale and stating he would send an E invoice to me so I could pay him a deposit to hold them while I arranged how I was going to collect them from him because I live 5 hrs away, he ceased contact! Nothing!

I emailed and tried to call several times, even asking him finally if he would have the decency to let me know if he still had the animals or if he still wanted to sell them, he didn’t even have the common courtesy to give a simple yes or no answer. Extremely rude and having read other reviews, I’m pleased that I didn’t go ahead and buy from him! Disgusting way to treat customers.

Always 50/50 chance of whether or not the owner will be extremely helpful or extremely rude. I stopped using the place years ago after asking if he had any large rats and got the response "no clue, im busy" and then just disappeared. On a good day hes great... but as a paying customer I expect great service EVERYDAY

When we arrived, we had to wait for an extended before we were let in. Once inside we were told to buy something or leave in 5 minutes despite being there well within opening hours. Due to this time limit and threat we felt pressured into buying some products. Whilst at the store another patron arrived and simply asked some mice for his snake. The owner was very unhelpful and gave a snarky comment that was not warranted. Before coming here we were very excited to view the animals and discuss the hobby, however after our poor experience we have decided to not revisit this establishment and would not recommend this place to others. The only animal we had time to view was the rabbit corpse on the counter.

It's a shame because this shop used to be a little diamond for reptiles and reptile supplies. Opens sometimes, most of the time it's locked and you have to wait outside. I know the guy has health issues but it does not excuse the behaviour.

Turned up just as he was locking up to nip to the shop.... we told him we would wait outside in the car whilst he went, 15 minutes later he arrived back with an emergency easter egg!... we didnt mind at the time as my 7 year old daughter was super excited to look inside and get some advice about owning her first snake and to buy a whole set up to house it in... but we were met by a man who was really negative and grumpy, he told us he could not give us ANY advice whatsoever as "the snake depends on the person & as a result the habitat depends on the snake" so we were none the wiser. We suggested a corn snake...."we dont have any" was the reply along with "theyre not the easiest" ...He was rude, snappy, snarky and REALLY obstructive. he justified this by saying "well ive only just got back". He made the whole experience really awkward and unpleasant. Will not be returning.

Can't say one way or the other anymore. Used to come 5+ years ago and it was a great place, it seems it's now an appointment only, although I struggled to find anything that said this before driving 20 miles to check it out.

Sounds like the owners been through some trouble so I can't faulter him on any decisions he's made for his own shop and business.

Apparently they don't do reptiles anymore either which is a huge shame.

They were always great at providing good and detailed information and the animals were always healthy and looked after. So if your interested in what they do it could well be worth checking it out still.
