I recently bought my poochon puppy from here. I took him to the vets today to get another injection and they checked him. They said he is healthy and everything is good with him. I am trying to toilet train him now. When we were in the pet shop here the lady was very nice and helpful for us and gave us all of his birth records , flea and worm dates . The only bad thing is that there is no sign of the mother but apart from that , the cage was small but they had fluffy blankets food and water and the puppies seemed happy enough. I would definitely recommend this pet shop as my puppy is doing great

I was in there the week before last and not only was the lady behind the desk rude as usual, but there was a little puppy in the back who was lying on his side, panting from the heat, lying in his own urine. I almost wanted to buy him to “save” him but I know buying a dog from this shop just encourages them to do this more.

Please stop selling dogs Acton Pet Shop!

I recently purchased a puppy from Acton Pets and could not fault the service, the animals looked happy and healthy and the staff were friendly and offered invaluable advice in regard’s to my puppy. They gave me free puppy food and all vaccinations were up to date. I've contacted the owner a few times for advice about my puppy and she is always more than happy to speak to me. I would definitely recommend this pet shop to others.

I purchased a kitten from this store about 2 years ago before the first lockdown.

My kitten was petrified hiding for about 2 weeks hissing at me.
It took about 3-weeks for my kitten to start to relax and trust me .
I love him to bits lovely cat.

Would leave zero or negative stars if I could. My best friends dog looks like he has been cut with a blunt knife and fork.. his belly and armpits have been shaved, causing stubble rash and sores. It's uneven, one of his claws has been cut too short and has bled and is starting to look infected, and for some reason his whiskers have been cut...why would you even do that??!! He is now also very cautious and scared of humans, and he was the most loving and friendly dog before, so I can only imagine how badly he must have been treated for him to have that kind of negative reaction. He is genuinely traumatised. He is my dogs son, so I have known him from the day he was born, and he is now a completely different dog, it's so sad. My friend was told to take her dog back so she could assess what could be done. Erm, NO...he's traumatised enough already thanks! Rude, and in my honest opinion doesn't know the first thing about grooming, or basic care of animals. Quite scary really and really needs shutting down, or reporting at least.

Went for a visit because I felt like a stroll. Not a big store with a mostly supplies and a few birds and hamster type animals. The lady was very nice. She doesn't know but I rang the store once before to help me source a snake for a music video and she was so helpful and friendly.

Bought my guinea pigs and my hamster from this store. Not a had an issue with any of them, and they have been very happy and healthy. I was also able to hold the animals prior to buying them and are confident about how they have been handled, which is important for me when buying from a pet shop.

The lady who sold them to me asked me a lot of questions regarding what I knew about the animals and gave me advice, which gave me some reassurance that they want to make sure the animals go to good homes.

Whenever I have rung up to enquire about their stock, they have always been very quick to answer.

I have, however, only dealt with the lady of the store, my experience with the gentleman has been minimal. I rang up to ask about the gender of the hamsters they had in stock and was told they were girls, only to find they were boys when I went to go pick one up. This is very minor for me as I wasn't picky about the gender of the hamster, but I think being absolutely sure about small but important details like this would be very helpful.
