Bought item given and recommended by member of staff but upon getting it home, it was completely wrong for what I asked for, they would not give refund even though the fault lay with a member of their staff and would only give a credit note which had to be used within 3 months! Absolute farce! Then upon returning to use the credit note on a fish I said I would purchase, the price went up by £10.00 & the bag they gave it in wasn't even big enough for the poor fish to turn around in, obviously not adherent to their animal rights policies either! Terrible service & will certainly not be returning.

A proper pet shop that's a Jewel in Ebbw Vale town centre. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The quality of harnesses, coats & collars are great. We take our dogs there for a bath every few months and lady called Leah is first class and make them feel very comfortable while they are there. (booking is by appointment). I always end up buying them loads of treats from the wide variety they have. if you're looking for someone who is gentle and caring to bath or cut your dog i couldn't recommend these guys enough. Superb!

Bought fish from here and one died before I even got them home to my tank. The other was put in my tank but I noticed white spot on him, he died a day later.
Tropical fish kept in freezing cold water when they are supposed to be kept in arm, so they aree not health at all.
Not very happy, will not be shopping here again.

Fantastic shop, staff are brilliant and very welcoming. Only went to get a fish and ended up getting new gravel and ornaments oh and got a beautiful budgie for my neighbour. Highly recommend, thank you ladies see you again.

Took our dog for a bath and full grooming, when I picked her up, you could see lines from where she'd been trimmed/groomed/cut...
Plus, where our dog had been trimmed around her head/face, it wasn't to a good standard.
So, I'm having to tidy up her grooming. Not happy with the finished result. Not expecting perfection, but I do expect an acceptable finish.
