My chihuahua always looks a billion dollars after coming to the groom room here. Also staff are extremely gifted with their knowledge of pets. Shout out to Jodi who gave me fab advice about pet nutrition and helped my dog with flea repellent. £4 a month to treat your pet and you never have to worry about fleas again!

Nigel made our first experience amazing, we’ve recently become fur-parents! Nigel went the extra mile to tell us of all the extras and awards you can get with pets at home. He took the time to help us set up our accounts which resulted in a discount on our order! Which in this economy is extremely helpful! 10/10 service from all the staff but a particular shout out to Nigel ! Thank you

In the process of moving store around. Staff don't know alot about the ingredients in dog food. If your looking for an item staff are helpful on the tills.

The staff at this pets at home were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to find me the right deals. A lovely member of staff recommended that I download the Pets at home app and I actually ended up saving around £25 on my entire purchase. I will absolutely be coming back to this Pets at Home, even if it means driving across Cardiff. Thank you!!!

Terrible service! They tried charge 10 pounds extra, said needed 2 people for shower my little dog. After all, they call me for pickup my dog and said I need to go quickly because they don’t have space for keep my dog. They didn’t touch the dog head, only did the body, said my dog didn’t allow dry the head, so they only did the body. My dog is an small Yorkshire, Wherever he goes, everyone say he is a very good boy, very good behaviour. So, this store (groom room Newport road) is the worst groom room that I visit in my life. Never more. Very disappointed

I was told I could just walk in with my dogs to have their nails clipped..I told the lady that one is abit flighty around other dogs...then was told to make a appointment but they are busy..I was asked what breed they are & I said staffies crosses..the two staff looked at each other & made me feel like i had two aggressive dogs (which they arent)..they both huffed & puffed which isnt professional..I mange to book them in end of December but I was made to feel judged & customer service is shocking so wont be going there..I'd rather pay a vet to do them

Took our Dog Oscar to the groom in for the first time, was really worried about how he'd do but I didn't need to worry he was great and the girls were amazing with him will definitely be back thankyou

Always fully stocked respectful lovely to take my puppy down x even though they wanna steal her and keep her they are well run fun family animal shop best one around we have I think cardiff would be loat and not to mention the groom room staff and vets for pets are amazing minnie loved her spa treatment and groom x we will be back very soon x
