We needed to replace our village duck house which was demolished in a recent storm and after scouring many sites we settled on Granddad Rob and what a find it was. The quality of the build and materials are excellent and the service was second to none, he even opened on Sunday to allow us collect it at a convenient time for us. The duck house is well balanced and floats evenly. I would also recommend the use of his mud weights which keep it from twisting. We now have to persuade the ducks to clear the duck weed and not sit on their deck all day.

Have been meaning to email you to say how delighted we are with our new tortoise house( although swiss chalet/ mansion is actually a more fitting description.) It did seem a lot of money to lay out, but having had my tortoises since childhood I wanted to ensure the house was of a quality that would allow them to live outside from spring to autumn( with appropriate UV/ Heat lamps etc which ha e been fitted by my husband) in comfort and safety from a robustly built and insulated home. But this one is also incredibly stylish, the attention to detail and craftsmenship are amazing and it looks brilliant in my daughters smaller garden.
Many thanks for such a beautiful, quality and lovely new home.

Initially I bought a regular shop enclosure for my tortoise but it soon become clear the shop bought one was inadequate for my tortoises needs. I searched and searched and found grandad Rob designs ltd.
Both my tortoise and I are delighted with the size width depth and quality of the enclosure. The design is excellent so now I’m happy and so is my tortoise.

Grandad Rob Designs built an Epsom 2 for the Duck Pond at Dartford FC, as part of its Learning Outside the Classroom environment for children and young people. The Epsom is beautifully made and looks lovely on the pond - we are hoping the ducks re-home themselves early next year. Great communication throughout from Becci, thanks very much Team.

I purchased a Windsor 12 nest dovecote on behalf of my director who was delighted with the dovecote.

Beautifully crafted and lovely looking house and run for our tortoise which keeps him secure in the garden when no-one can keep an eye on him. It receives lots of nice comments.
