I told him I needed Chloramphenicol eyes drop for my eye infection
He started asking different questions about the symptoms
Obviously you can see the irritation and the red eye
I just asked again for the drops for him to stop asking I told him we called and we was advised to come and pick up the drops as “”they are dispatched over the counter with no NEED of a prescription
He said “no “ I don’t give you the medicine
He was lucky I was very polite to say thank you and leave to another pharmacy in Portsmouth
I thanks God they are others staff in many pharmacies that help the patients
This was my awful experience today !!
I am an old person needed medication what a waist of time
I got my drops in Asda pharmacy the pharmacist look at my eyes at least and ask the questions
Sorry for the Guildhall pharmacy very poor customer service
My girlfriend went here for a typhoid vaccine. The service was very poor and slow. After the vaccine was given, the male staff member said it would cost £50. She showed them the price list on the website and the email confirmation she had received when booking - both of which stated the price as 39.00 and that an additional £10 consultation fee will be waived if the vaccine is purchased.
The guy told her that because he is a franchise, he can choose the prices he charges and these can be changed at any time. He agreed he will charge her £49 (to match the £39 cost + £10 consultation fee). She paid this as we have been struggling to find the Typhoid Vaccine.
It's just pretty disappointing that he was able to change the price when we had the confirmation of prices in writing. As I believe it should have only been £39.
Would highly recommend you avoid a pharmacy that changes their prices as and when they see fit. It's fairly deceitful and deceptive to advertise fictional prices online to attract customers, and then change them at the till. I tried contacting the pharmacy using the email they respond to comments to, to try to give them a chance to respond, but my email went unresponded to. Disappointing.
Change of staff and new layout within the store works well, staff are quick to acknowledge your presence, fast service no fuss.
Staff eager to help and offer assistance on products and repeat prescriptions.
Flu jabsxare available appointment not always necessary.
