My Uncle uses this Pharmacy and always speaks in glowing terms of all the staff, they go out of their way to be helpful and very friendly. I have started collecting my Uncles prescriptions and I agree totally with him that the staff at Everetts are friendly, approachable and always willing to help. The Pharmacist Laura is a credit to Everetts she goes well above what would be expected.

I try hard to support my local shops but am going to Sainsburys for my prescriptions now. Whilst the pharmacist is always lovely, Jan, the lady on the til, seems unable to deal with customers in a pleasant manner. During my last trip in, she made a snide comment about me not having any change. Unnecessary to embarrass customers and be so condescending and she is like that whenever I go in. Having seen a lot of comments on here about Jan, I hope Everett’s take note of all the negative feedback.

I’m so pleased to see that Laura has returned as the pharmacist at West End. She is always helpful and has a lovely manner. I’m sure she will address any staff issues as there is never any problems when I use the pharmacy when she is there. Good to have you back Laura!

Went in today for my mum. Found that part of the order was wrong, so I simply asked if it could be removed from my mum's order. Simple enough request. From then on, I was treated like something on both of the assistants' shoes. I was polite throughout, so I have no idea why they seemed to all take it personally that my mum had some wrong items that she hadn't requested. Their whole tone totally changed towards me, ie one of sheer contempt. I never accused the pharmacy of getting it wrong. I later asked if the GP had ordered them, and was told sarcastically "obviously, as we wouldn't have done them otherwise". As I was still waiting for some of my mums order, and it still wasn't in, I just asked if it was likely to be in tomorrow and she just snapped back 'don't know'. Ah, thanks for your help!! I was polite throughout, I know I was...if I wasn't so polite, I would have been as rude back to her, as she was to me.

When you suddenly become a carer overnight, it's hard enough. You really don't need the extra hassle or upset from someone who is supposedly there to help you. After speaking to my mum, she said it had happened to her in the past, so I have changed her chemist now for her prescriptions as, apart from collecting what is owed, (whenever in the future it actually arrives, as no one could be bothered to tell me), I don't intend on going back in there again.

They don't open until 9 and then they close at 1, whilst the pharmacist has lunch for an hour. If I arrive during that hour, I have to stand around outside as they don't cater for their clientel

Phamacy call back to check on new medication.
I was dubious this would be of any use. However, the pharmacist greeted me politely and was understanding of the fact I hadn't continued with my inhaler. She inquired about my symptoms, whether I was feeling any better and whether the GP had suggested any other treatment. She was sympathetic as to how I was feeling and we discussed ways to help ease my symptoms. I loved the fact that she said, just because I was feeling a bit better, I should not run around trying to get things done! I took this advice to heart and did nothing all day Friday! lol
All in all, this was the most comfortable and kindly conversation I have had with a medical professional for some time.

What a fabulous professional service provided by staff and pharmacist at this branch. Nothing too much trouble and they are always available to answer questions I may have on my 95yr old mums medication. They organise her medication ordering and blister packing to enable her to remain independent within her own home. The staff are so patient and informative I have every confidence that I I am able to manage mum's support that she might need. I do not hesitate on recommending this branch to others. 10 out of 10!!

People forget that you get what you bring to a conversation. Take time to be polite and understand that the pharmacist is a human too. The pharmacist takes a late lunch to help customers during their lunch break, hence no scripts between 1 and 2pm.
It's not rocket or indeed pharmaceutical science. Be polite, courteous and the staff are wonderful. Be surly and grumpy, then don't be surprised if you get short shrift.
