Very Poor service, mixed up my prescription on one occasion with someone else's tablets. Next time they short changed me the number of tablets I was prescribed then argued with me they hadn't. On a following visit where my GP gave me by hand an important prescription, they told me it would take 5 working days to process, since it hadn't been emailed directly to them! The next visit i entered 10 minutes before closing time & waited to be served, they told me they'd closed already, when I questioned why the sign said open & the door was unlocked & they had 10 minutes before closing I was told the staff don't get paid to cash up after the closing time so they stop serving 10 minutes before the times on the door, so wouldn't serve me, told me to come back tomorrow! I returned the following day 5 minutes after opening time to get my medication & they made me wait 15 minutes while they set up the till & shop. They weren't ready to serve until 20 minutes after opening time, making me late for work. I made a complaint and they simply "banned" me from the chemist, refused to serve me & returned my prescription to the Doctors surgery VERY POOR SHOW from Staff & Manager! TERRIBLE ATTITUDE, particularly as I was polite, did not swear or use any abusive or threatening behavior towards them. It was a genuine complaint. This was over essential medication on a War Pension, not a common cold.

I cannot believe how rude the man is that works here I am absolutely disgusted he even had the audacity to say why would you need a repeat prescription for that?! Honestly the most rude man I have ever spoken to in my life no help so called my doctors and they disagreed with everything he said and couldn’t believe it.

Very poor customer service
Queued for 1/2 hour only to be told that they were to busy to process my prescription
I asked if I could collect it tomorrow only to be told that they were closed due to the lack of a pharmacist
Got to wait 3 days in complete agony

I realise I need to contact Boots about this directly, but what is the point of having a closing time and not allowing customers in 10 mins before it? This logically means you need to bring your closing time forward 10 mins! Not rocket science. It's like the unpublished lunch shutting...

Parking is a bit awkward however very helpful and polite service when the staff are obviously under pressure.

Booked flu jab for today, received multiple reminders not to miss the appointment, turned up early to be told that they did not have someone 'qualified' to administer the jab. Gave some lame excuse about blocking out the pharmacy's diary only to have head office over rule and turn appointments back on. Reading other reviews I would suggest Boots need to introduce some serious staff training! Absolutely rubbish!

In store staff have always been extremely friendly and helpful. The same goes for over the phone, however they don't have a phone system so I find that I get stuck calling "line busy" about 100 times before I'm able to get through to someone. Have a queue system for when multiple people call in would be a huge help.
