Day Lewis Pharmacy Colchester 2

I was perscribed two types of antibiotics by my doctor but one was a 'standby' medication, I usually go to boots but they did not have what I needed so they sent me here. I picked up the first type of antibiotics and asked them when I could get my second if/when I needed them the man then said 'just come back in and we'll give them to you', they also kept my prescription and didn't think twice about it. Within the next few days my illness got worse and decided I needed the medication, when I rung to ask about it the man on the phone informed me that I wasn't able to have that medication and I was told that and that was explained to me on the day, when in fact it wasn't. He also insisted that he 'remembered' me when I hadn't even given him my name, how he could remember me from all of the hundreds of people's he'd served is beyond me. After a while he said that he was able to give me my medication, which was great. However I was clearly an inconvience to me, so rude and disrespectful to someone who only wanted help. I won't be returning to this pharmacy.

I go there weekly to get my meds, the staff are very friendly and helpful. They remember me and call me by my name as soon as I walk in the door.
The lady pharmacist gives me first class service and makes me feel very welcome.
Yes there are days when I have to wait or come back but they are a very busy and popular pharmacy.

DO NOT GO HERE

shop was closed at 3.15 on Saturday despite opening hours on door saying Saturdays till 5.30. surely you can put a note on the door

Part of the pharmacy qualification includes how to be as rude as possible to customers. Ah pharmacists...the medical equivalent of a special police officer.

Jackie and the girls were brilliant in helping me out even though my tablets could not be got there they phoned around and found a solution for me will be back again, thanks ladies really appreciate you x

The best pharmacy around. The staff are so kind, understanding and helpful. Due to the current medication crisis in the Uk with certain pharmaceutical company’s I was unable to obtain my specific dosage of medication required rendering me from working.the staff went out of their way to help and call around and find other sources and alternative ways in which to find solutions. Through no gain to themselves. Excellent service
