It's nice to walk into a pharmacy where you can have a private consultation. This particular morning I could not for love nor money get a doctor's appointment so my good friend advised me to go to Boots. It work for me so bear this in mind for future.

This is one of the best Pharmacies this country has to offer .
I cannot praise the the enough. Efficient , polite , kind and thorough.
They are a brilliant example of how amazing our NHS is .
Keep up the good work .

Great, friendly, helpful, well informed staff. It's a small shop with a high volume of prescriptions business, so I commend their capability to organise and manage the chaos. If you're looking to shop for things, you're probably better off going to a larger Boots retailer.

4 days to fill a prescription and still not ready.
Every time I have used this pharmacy it's always can you call back later sir.
Appears to be a lot of people working in the back groud but they are at best 4 days behind schedule

Tried to arrange an emergency delivery of my 6 medications as had to self isolate (new to area so have no support network yet). I was told that a note had been put on my record and I would not only get a delivery but a free delivery because of my circmstances. I understood this would have been on Friday. No delivery was received and when I chased up I was informed that I should have booked a week before (not possible as I did not know that I was going to be in self isolation) that I had to book a delivery slot (again I was not told this) the assistant was rude, insistent on blaming me for not booking in and after I pointed out that it was they who had failed and not me, he said I was obviously upset and should call back when I had calmed down, I was going to miss 3 days medicines due to their incompetence and all I got was insults, I had not raised my voice nor sworn. I called back later and a second assistant answered who said that they could not arrange a delivery because I had not booked in and that they could not contact me (I was not asked for any contact information - I assumed my name and address on the medication would have been enough). Pleasant at first as I explained my situation she became more impatient with me, telling me about their whole delivery procedures, how doctors were failing to provide prescriptions quick enough etc. as if it was my and thI eir fault and not the pharmacy. She offered to find the emergency volunteers number but failed, I suspect she found out that they did not operate on a Saturday, so I rang off.

I could have forgiven the mistakes they made, if they had not so rudely tried to blame me for not knowing or providing the information they neither supplied nor for not giving it when not asked. Their insistance that it was the delivery company's, doctor's or my fault was sickening when a simple apology and attempt to put things right would have solved a lot. I only live 5 minutes drive up the road but noone thought to deliver the medicines themselves after such a debacle.
