Hobbs

They've always been really good to me in the two years we've lived in the area. The negative reviews are from quite a while back it seems. They're friendly, patient and really try to help when I leave my prescription to the last minute!

There are posters up in the pharmacy encouraging you to phone in advance so prescriptions can be ready when you arrive, but the phone number on their website is a fax machine.

I have a prescription that needed to be ordered, and was advised to call to make sure it is there before visiting, but how?

I've given two stars instead of one because the staff were friendly, and this is not their fault, but this is a basic bit of information to make available, Hobbs.

I was one of 9 people waiting for their prescriptions, this afternoon. It was closed at lunchtime when I went which is poor and the wait at 3.15 was ridiculous. My father has always told me how bad they are, now I know he wasn't exaggerating. Why have they got the contract if they can't deliver? The young girl serving was delightful. I'd give 0 if I could for the chemist though!

The staff here are amazing! Always quick with mine & my families prescription and have no issues with it at all. Whenever I get a new medication, someone always explains it to me in full detail and always happy to answer any questions. We call up a week before we need our medication as that’s what we were advised by the staff and we’ve never had a problem getting our medication on time. You all work so hard, thank you!

I used to go to Boots but left because I just didn't have time for the long queues and the constant issues (the staff were amazing, I really feel for them). Hobbs is a lot more convenient for me. Less queues, easy to call, helpful staff and attached to my GP should there be any communication errors between the two, it's quite easy to just nip upstairs.

In 2021 being closed at lunch between 1-2 is unacceptable, especially when this is the time that most people who work will be able to collect their prescription.

I would advise staff take alternate breaks like most other service companies.

Also they would benefit from a clear system of who is queuing and who is waiting for the prescription in store as currently it is confusing and inefficient.

The new store looks great though, so once these issues are solved it could be great.

they've got worse since they moved from quarry hill parade Tonbridge into river lawn

Staff have only ever been incredibly helpful, friendly and polite to me and I've never had to wait longer than 5 mins to pick up my prescriptions!
