Very proactive and helpful

This is the pharmacy I have just opposite my house and the one I try to avoid as much as possible. Unfortunately I have had to go a few times and every time I just enter the store you can feel you are not welcome at all. You are observed by the pharmacy advisors like you were going to steal something when you browse the store. If you ask for something and they do not have it, they just make faces, and if you ask for advice and the item offered to you is not suitable , they make you feel very uncomfortable.
The most rude customer experience I have experienced . I am actually afraid if I have to go there to buy paracetamol. Do not expect a smile by any chance

Unfortunately my first experience visiting Healthchem Pharmacy in Balham was not a good one. Such a shame as I was hoping to make this pharmacy one of my frequented stops as I regularly buy most of brands they stock. However, the owner / manager was very cold and not at all helpful when I went to collect an online order that was being delivered to the store. In fact the owner / manager was unexpectedly rude and basically told me that no one had ever used her pharmacy for online order collections and proceeded to say “why would I act as an online collection service when a customer can come in and buy things themselves?!” I was pretty shocked by her response as I stood there trying to show her my collection confirmation stating the pharmacy address and details etc. It was made clear that she had no intention of acknowledging this, instead adopting a rather abrupt manor. I left the store feeling angered and offended and without any assistance with my order. Sadly I would now think twice about using this pharmacy again as a result.

I have to say the sales team of this shop is rather rude and unpolite. Today, I bought Naturint Hair Colour from Holland and Barret. When i passed by this Pharmacy, I found they sell the same brand but packing looks different. Then i entered the pharmacy and compared the colour number. But when I left the Pharmacy, a woman (with black hair) suddenly run up to me and put her hand directly into my shopping bag taking out the Naturint box in her hand claiming this was their product.When she saw the box was of different packing which they didn't have it in the shop, she quickly turned her body and run quickly back to shop without a word sorry. This was rather rude and un polite. Even though there might be mis understanding there, you could always come up to ask me in a polite way, and I would explain in details. I feel this matter is a shame in Balham. And for this matter, I should have their appology from them if they see my comment here.(the photo shows the Naturint hair colour i bought from Holland and Barret which they put their hand into my shopping bag taking it out directly.)

I'm quite suprised at the couple of bad reviews of this Pharmacy, I have been using it for years & I use it regularly. I have never had any bad experiences in here, all the staff are very friendly & helpful, if they ever don't have the Meds I need they do there best to get them the next day, they phone you to tell you when they have them or are going to have them. I have had nothing but good service here & I would highly recommend them.

Really quick, hassle free and easy. Staff were friendly and sorted out the SignatureRX prescription straight away (unlike the queue and slow time in boots).
