Peace Pharmacy

Very friendly staff, came in with chill, bought a thermometer, lovely assistant took my temperature, what impressed was when i walked by the pharmacy the lady that served me the day, saw me, asked how i was. Sometimes its the smile the sense of caring that matters. Everytime she sees me says hello.

The staff at this place are extraordinarily helpful. There are really long opening hours, so they are open when every other pharmacy in Camberwell is closed. They can also chase up repeat prescriptions for you, so I never have to go to my GP for repeat prescription anymore, Peace pharmacy does it all for me. They have never been out of stock for anything I''ve needed. I live in Denmark hill and have been going there for years, and always got help with anything I've needed. Excellent customer service.

2 days ago I bought some medication from there as It was closest to where I was at the time, a day has passed, where the next evening I open up the box that has been taped shut, to find nothing but the instructions inside. Hoping it was an honest mistake, I returned the following day to seek advise, the lady behind the counter immediately became defensive saying that all their medication is taped for security, at this point i was depicted as a liar, she gives the phone number to their head office. Where they were just as useless. The one thing I realised from my conversation with them, they said only the blue packets are taped together whereas the lady from the stores says they all are. Moral of all this, check your medicine before you leave the perimises, would also like to mention the mark up of all products, they don't care about their customers, they're just exploiting the medical market for profit.

1. They stated that they are open on Sundays from 1300 - 1700. I was therefore from exactly 1300 till 1340 and they were still not open.

2. I later came back at around 1500 and made enquiries regarding travel vaccine. The receptionist told me that they do it, however that I should come back the following day because the pharmacist in is not their in-house one but a stand in.

3. The following day I came as advised and brought to the attention of the pharmacist [black with short hair] my experience of the previous day and she was unconcerned, very unfriendly and extremely unprofessional. In fact, she was rude and aggressively on defensive trying to justify the unjustifiable and even making faces.

4. To cut the long story short, I told her that I am there for travel vaccine and she rudely responded that they don’t do it! I brought to her attention that her colleague told me the previous day that they do hence the reason I was there. She kept rudely trying hard to explain what I don’t know. I went outside and took a picture where it stated clearly outside the pharmacy they do and she responded with no iota of apology that they used to do but no more.

5. At that stage I got angry and left. In a nutshell, this experience could have been resolved differently with a good outcome but because this staff is poorly trained and very unprofessional, she ended up leaving me very angry resulting in this poor review and a vow never to return there again!

I wish my GP would stop using this pharmacy! I fail to understand how they cannot have medication in stock! Giving you half a prescription and telling you to come back the next day! The thing is this happens to often. Very frustrating

Use this pharmacy offen for my Mother in her 90's. Today I returned a bag of unused medicines she no longer takes. Having been asked a number of times to return them today I remembered.
Having showed the gentleman behind the pharmacy counter I was told "oh no I must return them another day" because as he told me at length your had no room for them ?
I left the bag on trying to buy some pads for her he told the Lady behind the other counter do not serve me.
He has the pills as i left them with him, but the the way he spoken to me was just rude.
Two things to mention they open at 1.00pm he turned up to open with keys at 1.15 and the whole time I was there no mask.

Times on the outside of the building do not correspond with their actual opening times. Always feel like I’m paying too much for everything when I do manage to get inside.
