This pharmacy is the worst, most of the time they haven’t got a clue on what they are doing! The queues are long and even if there is one person ahead of you your still waiting for a good 20 minutes minimal. If I could give no star I would. They need to update there system and find some diligent workers as this isn’t acceptable. When they give medication it’s a error in the medication, it doesn’t make sense, they don’t make sense. They should be reviewed I have read some of the reviews and it’s clear to see that a lot of people this is happening to.

Nobody seems to pick up the phone. It’ll ring out. I often have a lot of medicine and usually I am given an owing slip. I would rather call to double check if they have it but it seems the phone never gets answered. Also the customer service slacks.

if I can give it 0 stars I would. I went the other day to pick up my prescription for migraines and was in horrible pain from the lights inside the shop. Upon arrival at around 8:15 (the pharmacy opens at 8) the lady said 'I can't serve you as there is no pharmacist', so when I asked when will the pharmacist arrive since they open at 8 I was met with the rude 'I don't know when he comes, he comes' I proceeded to wait there around 20min in physical pain. When he arrived I was thoroughly questioned when did I call my GP, am I sure I didn't order my prescription to another pharmacy because they couldn't find it but suddenly when I started to raise my voice they miraculously found my meds. Will never step foot in this pharmacy ever again and will order online going forward. DO not visit this place!!

Ordered an emergency prescription via Lloyds Online. Went to collect and they didn’t have it in stock. No apology or offer to order it just walked away before I’d finished speaking. Went again on Sunday and found a note at the desk saying the pharmacy was closed. Went back again this morning at half past 8 (opens at 8) and the note was still up. The pharmacist eventually came out from the back and said that although they were open she couldn’t do my prescription until another member of staff came at 9am. She spoke to me like I was stupid when I asked her why they open at 8 knowing that they can’t operate and told me to come back at 9 like I don’t have a job to get to. Don’t bother calling them
either as they NEVER answer the phone

Zero stars to be frank. As someone who relies on their medication to stay alive, three times since switching to this pharmacy I’ve been told my prescription hasn’t been sent to them by GP. Each time before today this has been proven to be false, including by an out of hours pharmacy via 111 which berated me for wasting their time when they could see the prescription on the system clearly sitting at Lloyd’s (after I’d been turned away twice from there earlier in the day). Now today again I’ve been left with no means of testing my blood sugar or using insulin as a type 1 diabetic. Fantastic, thanks very much for that. Stop blaming things on my GP practice, which is very good, when we’ve already proved each time that you’re the party at fault. 🤬

Edited the next day: oh surprise, after an hour on the phone during the working day to GP and this ‘pharmacy’, we established that Lloyd’s had in fact correctly been sent the prescription on 10th March by the GP. Except they were now out of stock so still couldn’t actually access my medication. Ended up going to another pharmacy who served me promptly and competently with all my items, who would have thought it was so easy?

Edited a few months later:

After swearing never to put myself at the mercy of this place again, my work schedule made it difficult for me to get to a pharmacy during 9-5 so I was bound to use it again. I see nothing at all has changed. On my first three trips found it closed despite the website saying it should be open. On my fourth trip, by which point I had completely run out of supplies, I was told they had none of the items available. Despite the prescription having landed with them 12 days earlier so plenty of time to order in. Not that this was a surprise, as I watched the two people ahead of me being turned away as well due to not having their items, so a sense of impending doom already clear. This place needs to be shut down, it’s a complete joke and absolutely unfit for purpose. Going now to another chemist to see if they can issue the items. Which are standard diabetes items issued by NHS, not exotic goods.

Meanwhile, can I recommend the branch in Crayford Sainsburys, which has bailed me out, half in tears, many a time after Sydenham have f****** up. A fair drive away, but they always have the stuff in stock despite only having received the prescription a few minutes before (not 12 days) and are pleasant and helpful. What a revelation. Just leaving there now with everything I need and no drama 👍

Didn’t have my script in stock. Said they’d phone me the next day when it arrived, no phone call. No help to give any advice about getting the script, and have me the piece of paper that said it can’t be used anywhere else and 0 bothers in the world about being unable to help. Got manic within 24 hours and spent 3.5weeks in hospital.

Abysmal attitude from staff. The pharmacist wouldn’t even speak to me to try and figure something out.

Echo what others have put here, just the worst. Locums have no idea of what’s going on, do not book any tests through the website as you will be told they can’t do it or don’t know about it. No manager around either. Just rubbish

If I could give zero I would! My prescription was sent there 1/12/21 went to collect said it's at my nominated pharmacy and they can't pull it off the system unless my pharmacy releases it! This was clearly a lie they could pull it off the system and it was sent there by my GP who have audit trail digital evidence. The pharmacy is useless and incompetent who can't cope or do the job. Management and stuff need training and discipline. Time to bring in a better team and management to do the job. Clearly they can't do it.
