Markrise Pharmacy

I went to Markrise pharmacy on a Saturday approximately one month ago to pick up a prescription, as Saturn pharmacy, was not open.

The pharmacist tried to get me to sign up to send my repeat prescriptions and electronic prescriptions to him.

I explained that I use Saturn pharmacy and told him that I do not wish to sign up. He gave me a letter and asked me to sign it, which I refused and explicitly said to him that I do not want for my prescriptions to come to him and to only go to Saturn, which I’ve been using for over 20 years.

When time came to pick my repeat prescription, I went to Saturn pharmacy as always. I was told by Saturn that my pharmacy prescription service had been changed to Markrise. I was very surprised by this given that I had explicitly asked my prescription to not be taken over.

Saturn pharmacy did get my prescription back, however there is one prescription that is now stuck and presumably been already claimed by Markrise, but I have not received it. Saturn were unable to dispense this to me.

I am very outraged that this pharmacy without my consent took over my electronic prescription.

I spoke with someone else who also had the same problem.

Ridiculous people!

Always pleasant and helpful attentive to the needs of the customer. This is my local Pharmacy and I would recommend this Pharmacy to all my family.

I would not recommend nor would i even give this pharmacy 1 star. My daughter had called about a prescription the day before which was difficult to find and they said that they had it in stock. However, when we arrived early this morning we were told that they did not have it and we were misinformed with no apologies whatsoever. We explained that my daughter was leaving on a flight and if he could help and advise other pharmacy that had it in stock. He was so unhelpful and kept going off to do other things (whilst he still had our prescription).

I explained to him the urgency of finding a pharmacy today as she needed the prescription before leaving on a flight today which his answer was "have patience" whilst he yet again wandered off. We spent over 40 mins until he eventually returned our prescription to us with no help or apologies what so ever that they had misled us.

I found the attitude of this person appalling and will never use this pharmacy again.

Happily we found another pharmacy in Tooting (Lords) which I have also left a review for. This person has went out of their way to find what we were looking for and have it delivered to his store, amazing service.

The service and commitment to help, was beyond both Ila (my wife) and I expected. The recommendations were very practical and useful. The expertise and knowledge was exceptional. Very impressed.

Markrise Pharmacy is excellent and the best in the area. I think we can all agree that finding a chemist who cares is important but not always guaranteed. I was treated with compassion and staff went above and beyond to ensure I got the medicine I required to get better.

Worst pharmacy in the area. They told me to come in to collect my prescription then called me again an hour later to come in next day. When I went in I asked the lady at the front about the prescription, she didn’t inform me that she couldn’t find it on the system. I was left waiting there until I asked someone else and the previous lady came back to say ‘there’s nothing new on the system’ what a joke, I’d advise anyone to go to saturn pharmacy down the street and avoid this place

Staff always ready to help and very knowledgeable about the products the have. Good guidance and if they can't, instantly you will be refered to your local GP. Many thanks to all the staff.
