Yesterday evening, after waiting for over 20 minutes, I picked up a prescription for antibiotics. When I got home and opened the packet there were only 14 tablets inside instead of the 20 prescribe. Today, I phoned at lunch time to let them know this and was told to bring the box back to the pharmacy. There was no apology for my inconvenience or for their mistake.

I went back this evening only to be kept waiting. When the pharmacist finally arrived with my full prescription he moaned on and on about how inconvenient it was for them, inferring that the mistake was mine or that I was trying to pull a fast one. Why on earth he thought that I would go through this palaver for an ‘extra’ 6 antibiotics is beyond me. It was obviously their mistake as the tablets were on two sheets, and if they had filled the prescription properly, there would have been two sheets and an odd amount in the packet. He then grunted that tablets weren’t the same brand and continued with his rant. I was so disgusted with his attitude I left. At no point did he apologise. The only person inconvenienced here was me after having to reschedule my day to include yet another lengthy pharmacy visit.

Also, while waiting for the rude pharmacist to do his job, the assistant asked the man at the counter, in front of the whole shop, if he had any BBV’s. Exceptional confidentiality training there!

Will not use this store again. If you can’t train your staff to do their jobs properly, at least train them to have some level of customer service skill.

This is a busy pharmacy that requires a more systematic and organised prescription handling capability. The service appears to be in a constant state of delay, misplaced prescriptions, slow handling of pick ups and lengthy queues. I was also asked what my prescription was for in front of a queue of others which is not professional. They do their best, it better management is required to improve the counter service.

I don’t think I have ever had a good experience. Leaving my little boy 5 days without the medication, prescribed by his GP for immediate use, is the final straw. Someone will end up dying because of their level of incompetence. Someone further down the comments has already developed pneumonia due to their inaction.

Always have to wait for the pharmacist to sign it off even though its been a week when I collect it

Wrong medication issued but can't identify who was responsible. Head Office don't care about potential consequences 🤬

This review is purely about the external, first impression of the frontage of the pharmacy. The signage looks very old and worn and the shop inside looks as if it needs a serious update. Also, there seems to be a quite a lot of empty shelves. Doesn’t give a very good first impression. Definitely needs a bit of a refurbishment. Looks a bit run down.

Items often wrong, then you get accused of lying. 2 weeks to issue mums emergency antibiotics she ended up developing pneumonia!
New system blamed asks patients to order 10 days early, even when you do your told it will be another 4 days (despite having the prescription there!) Tried explaining meds will run out next day but they don't care, come back Monday we "might" be open and have it!
Used to be good, now so busy they are literally damaging peoples health.

Popped in there this morning with severe dental pain. Needed something until my dentist appointment and they were so lovely and caring and incredibly helpful. Such amazing staff
