To be honest, they used to be much better. I get really fed up waiting ages for my prescription which is always sent a week before I collect it. I asked again today why they don't complete prescriptions as they come in from the GP surgery. I was told to phone first, which is what I had started doing but I don't see why I should!
To top it off today, someone came after me and I watched as they prepared his and gave it to him. I was not at all happy and told them so. I've had enough. I'm now going to change chemist after many years of loyalty.

Been using this pharmacy for years. Like others, I have had a less than positive experience on occasion, notably the rude pharmacist (a mature gentleman) and his general belligerence. However, the other staff have always been, all of them, friendly and helpful, and at times almost apologetic on the pharmacist’s behalf.

For the past couple of years, though, there has been a great improvement. The female pharmacist is very helpful and extremely efficient, together with the other staff - who have always been good - and the pharmacy is much improved.

They always get the prescription right and package it in a good way, and they are happy to answer any questions or to explain anything needed. My experience these days is literally in and out within a few minutes - no mean feat when there are multiple medications to be dispensed. Very good service.

Am marking down from what would have been a four-star review as the pharmqcy door is often faulty, and the floor tiles (edges especially) are in need of a deep clean and/or replacement.

There were three people trying to sort out prescriptions and there was a line of us waiting for an age. I am not sure any of them knew what they were doing or how to serve customers.

I posted a review last year, but I would like to send another one because it really is the best pharmacy I have ever been to. Staff have never let me down......friendly service always with a smile and so helpful....no matter what. Thanking you so very much. Kind regards.

I don't know which chemist the other reviewers visited but we were incredibly pleased with our experience. We were travelling from overseas and left behind some critical medicine. The staff here went out of their way to ensure that we got an emergency supply of it the same day. I can't thank them enough for saving our holiday. Please consider sending them your business!

Terrible place - rude, deliberately obstructive and unhelpful staff. Much better pharmacists in the area.

Went in today after the GP sent a prescription there for me to pick up. After giving my details, the pharmacist produces the tablets I needed, plus tablets that I have on repeat prescription. When I said I didn't yet need any more of the repeat prescription tablets and that is not what I came in for, he goes to the back of the shop and starts talking about me in a derogatory fashion. I challenged him and pointed out that I had not asked for any repeat prescription tablets and, as I am one of the mugs who pays for their prescriptions, I didnt fancy paying another 20 quid for drugs I do not need at the moment. This is the second time this has happened. I shall be having my prescriptions sent to another pharmacy in future.
