Avicenna Pharmacy The Green

Been using this place for years as my nominated pharmacy. But no more. Integrity is paramount for me, so when I was lied to several times by staff today, I'll have to go elsewhere. Collecting a prescription ,today I was told they had not received my prescription from my itGP. So it was the surgeries fault I had no medication to collect. I call the GP only to be told the prescription had been sitting there for 4 days. I then call the pharmacy again to inform them the GP had issued the prescription and asked for an explanation. The pharmacy told me I had to tell them every time I had a prescription issued, otherwise they would not collect it!!!E .. that's a lie, as I'd had two prescriptions a month for the last 5 years. I had never had to tell them to collect it before. Caused a load of stress. Let me down. Won't use them again as a point of principal.

Phone line is so bad they never answer always goes to machine. Very bad at respond to phone i have called over 7 time in a day always just rings then dead. Ridiculous!

I know how old I am I don’t pretend to be anything other than who I am. However, it is no one else’s business how old I am or what products I am attempting to purchase. The young Asian woman who felt it was ok to announce my age or the products I wished to purchase was out of line, disrespectful and rude.
Fortunately another lady came to speak to me and explain issues. I was so embarrassed I even apologised to the young Asian girl who had been so indiscreet. A lady outside the chemist who had witnessed the exchange found it disgraceful. And waited to speak to me.
It is not your business my age or my medical condition unless you are a trained medical professional and this should always be discussed in private not in front of a full chemist

Lovely staff that go the extra mile!

Sorted me out on a LFT kit in the blink of an eye or two. The young lady who served me was exceptionally attentive and kind to an "Old Grunter", with rotten heating such as I... Experience was top drawer....

Never seen a pharmacy so bad. medications prescribed by your GP they say manufacturers have stopped them or no stock and you have to wait for ever. Take the same prescription to another place they have it ready for you. I don't understand how they stayed open so long. When a customer tells them give prescription back they don't even ask you why because they know they are rubbish.

I would rate 0 because there are 3 people in there and they have a sign on the door saying pharmacist is not here and all I wanted to buy is calcough for infant. They where all there and present and saw me too so I don't know why they even work there like whats their purpose.

We have always had really good customer service from this pharmacy. We also have our flu jabs there.
