Clarks Chemist - Alphega Pharmacy

Frustratingly the actual pharmacists here are great, but the shop assistants on the front counter are so rude, disinterested and absolutely unhelpful.

I don’t normally bother with bad reviews - I just take my business elsewhere. But they are so rude, I feel the need.

I question why they even work there - as clearly they are not interested in customer service at all.

Exceptional experience. The pharmacist spoke with me for 15 minutes, gave me fantastic advice, wrapped up my cut, gave me a bandage to take away, and then unbelievably refused payment. I was astonished. Top shelf service

I popped in to buy a bottle of sun cream on a hot day but could not see a price. Thé rude shopkeeper concealed the card machine as I was paying - £16.49 on a bottle of sun cream which would have cost £5 in BOOTS.

Excellent community pharmacist. Good knowledge. Observed Handling a number of other clients with kindness and compassion.
Grateful that they recommended a cheaper generic version of the same medication rather than simply sucking up profit!
Friendly affable counter staff and good football knowledge, even if they don’t support the same World Cup teams as I, and don’t see chess as a sport! 😂

We always have such a fantastic experience with Clark's pharmacy. I don't normally write reviews, however I wanted to share how Geoff always goes above and beyond with help and advice. My daughter sprained her thumb in school, instead of going to the doctor I popped into Clarks and Geoff throughly examined her hand, gave us advice on how to help it heal and wrapped it in a bandage. He was so friendly and made us all laugh which really helped. We are incredibly grateful.

Firstly I like to think and commend the workers in this establishment. Because of the fast action great teamwork great communication today my mother is alive. I’ve been coming to this pharmacy for years and I’ve never been disappointed. But this visit was a special visit as my mother had suffered a stroke inside the pharmacy. They reacted quickly by calling 999, and calling me to notify me. On arrival my mother was on the floor and not in a good state however the team insured me that she will be okay as they have her in the recovery position and I’ve called 999. That day my mother was wearing a dress and to protect the dignity they covered her legs. He also administrated oxygen which was a very big help and one of the reasons why she’s able to have a full recovery from her stroke. At no point did they disappoint and not support me. They even got in contact with me after the event which I am grateful for. Thank you

I've been coming to this pharmacy since I was a little girl. The staff have always been polite and cheerful. The pharmacist is called out when I need to speak to him/her, and they've been extremely helpful by going above and beyond to provide me a highly satisfactory service. I have noticed the care they provide to other customers too - who seem extremely happy with the service. They have a great atmosphere in the pharmacy which is very welcoming. I will definitely recommend to friends and family.

I don't normally write reviews, but felt Clark's chemist needed one. Over the past few years both my wife and I have found the owner Geoff and his staff to be both very helpful and understanding in the way they deal with things. Over the past 18 months to 2 years they have put themselves forward and gone that extra mile to help not just us but others in what has been a very troublesome time. I would therefore like to publicly say a big thank you to both Geoff and his staff and good luck. Keep on doing a fantastic job that I know you all will
