Abell Chemist and Travel Clinic

I had a flu vaccine here last week with my wife. The service was great, very clean premises and the staff were welcoming. Would recommend for anyone looking to get a vaccine done.

We had been with Abell’s chemist for over 10 years before recently having to find a new chemist. This was due to the pharmacist constantly getting my Wife’s medication wrong. The usual bad habit was leaving something off or not chasing and getting something in, Or issuing the WRONG medication completely!! Staff vary greatly in politeness and helpfulness, some are very kind and helpful others are down right rude and antagonist. I had already tried to sort this out amicably with the director who’m stood under my point of view and wrote me a letter to explain how he was going to correct curtain issues. Only for them to mess my wife’s medication up YET AGAIN! Last straw, you can’t mess about with peoples lives, some medications have horrendous side effects if not taken at the correct time. This they do not seem to grasp. Also I know I’m not the only one as two or three customers have had similar problems that I have spoken to. I would not use them ever again.

Will find another pharmacy. My daughter has Crohn’s and she has had the wrong dosage given, the wrong medication TWICE! And after requesting a repeat prescription, I had to call to ask where it was only to be told they only had a few tablets. Fed up .

Excellent staff, simply one of a kind that truly up and beyond their call of duty, incredible service from start to finish. Thank you so much to Youssour and the team for delivering such a warm welcoming service to me, truly appreciate it. On top of that, they actually sell energy drinks, flavoured water, snacks, haribos, pringles, oreos, Pukka Teas etc... it is not only a pharmacy, it is also a corner shop too, it is just wow, Abell Team and the pharmacy are truly built different and unique! Now you know I'm coming to this pharmacy to collect my prescription medication and also stop by every time for energy drink or even a breakfast bar from to go alongside my morning coffee on my way to work.

Mohammed, Mr Gudka, and absolutely all the staff at this Pharmacy are just wonderful. I have been with them for 14 years - old and new locations - and they have never failed to smile and serve. They go totally out of their way to help, to order medications in for you, etc. Throughout the pandemic they regulalry delivered our medications to us at home - even late evenings. Wishing the team all the best and very good health in return. Thank you so much.

The staff were exceptional and super helpful! The place is organised and really clean. Defo recommend this place for any medicines and products :)
