Day Lewis Pharmacy Ipswich

Been there a couple times. They’re the only pharmacy I’ve been able to find in Ipswich that offers free emergency pills. They do a small consultation on the spot and voilà, you just saved £25. Great service.

Staff are polite and helpful but always closed for lunch, and so many days they are closed because of no pharmacist booked or when they are they show up late!!!! Unprofessional and really inconvenient.

Absolutely disgusting customer service this pharmacy handed out my prescription to somebody else yet refused to accept responsibility instead told me I was a liar and that I or my partner picked it up. My partner was next to me and the woman said I remember you and he said "yes I pick up my medication from here" They told me to re order my prescription so I did, fast forwards 2 weeks later, I received my text saying my prescription was ready to pick up, they told me it was not there and was adamant about it so I explained what happened last time then the same blonde woman shouted from behind the counter she's a liar she's had her medication. I showed them my text for my new prescription and magically they found it but with no apology. I waited in the waiting area and heard the staff shout "WHY ARE YOU EXEMPT" to which I said I am not exempt I have a pre payment to which she sighed. This was very embarrassing in front of all the other customers. Met with constant eye rolls, sighs, shouting, made to feel small like I am a massive inconvenience to them. I completely understand why in the other review someone stated it made their mental health worse.

Called to ask if they had something particular in stock at 12:30 which they told me they did so I replied with “il be over in half an hour” I walk over at 1oclock and they’re shut…
The person on the phone neglected to tell me they shut for lunch otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered.

I've never had a problem staff are friendly and helpful and perscription always there and don't take long

I have never in my life met such rude people, at 559 mid conversation about my sons medication with the pharmacist I was told they were closed and he walked before, I will mot be going back there

Always been a great help, issue with medication running low and surgery not responding to the prescription request. The pharmacy got this sorted for me and were extremely polite.
