Great pharmacy, opened and run by the excellent and friendly chief pharmacist the former Boswell's pharmacy, which regrettably closed. So much better than Boots, where staff cannot even provide you with basic advice, and you get ripped off for medication on private prescriptions (e.g. dental) and over the counter medication (unless NHS prescription) after standing in a queue forever. Cowan's is currently re-applying to be able to process NHS prescriptions, which the pharmacist did at Boswell's for decades, but until this is granted, this pharmacy should be supported by all private customs over Boots.

Got a hot water bottle here and a reasonably priced cream with Aloe Vera so I'm all set for winter.

Most experienced and friendly pharmacist in Oxford. If you used to get your scripts filled in Boswell's as I did (for over a decade), this is now the independent pharmacy you want to go to in the city centre. Vastly better experience than Boots.
